Located in the basement of Morton’s private member’s cub, 2&8 is the latest venture of London’s it-man Jake Parkinson-Smith and his partner Carlo Carello, two men that know how to draw a crowd.
The DJ’s play good music and it doesn’t take hours to get a drink at the bar, but the club isn’t the largest you will have ever seen, it is simply one room, so having a table is preferable. The size of the club adds to its exclusivity and if it ever gets a little too claustro for you you can always go upstairs to Morton’s main bar, which has a vibe of its own and is a fun place to have drinks.
The Club is open Tuesdays – Saturdays from 10:30pm – 3:00am and as it is in a private member’s club I recommend emailing victoria@mortonsclub.com for guest list and tables.
